Inca Trail - Day 2
This is the big one! We had to climb 1000 vertical meters over 5.5 kms up to the top at 4200 meters. Wow! We left at 7 , and arrived at the summit at 10:30. We felt like we were climbing Everest! Mel's army training came in useful as she went into route march mode. Tamryn and Keean were like mountain goats, and RP just breathed heavier and heavier...... But we made it and climbed another 4 kms down to the camp site.
