We finally made it this far, and how different it is! Imagine life on board a working ship….. yep, you can’t. The first two days were hazy to a lot of us, as we went through the infamous Drake Passage. It’s 1000km wide and you can’t imagine the swells!, the first person you meet on board is the doc, and as he shakes your hand he also gives you a handful of seasick pills, it sends you on such a wonderful journey of sleep and sleep. Better than the alternative.
The days were filled with lectures, various topics on Antarctica, interesting! Finally, we spot our first iceberg and then Land! Keean's happy.
